Our mission is to help mothers in West Michigan to breastfeed through mother-to-mother support, encouragement, information, and education, and to promote a better understanding of breastfeeding as an important element in the healthy development of the baby and mother.
La Leche League is mother-driven and a volunteer organization. This means that all accredited LLL leaders are breastfeeding mothers themselves who have received special education and training to be able to assist you in your breastfeeding journey.  Also, LLL is not JUST breastfeeding. We discuss nighttime parenting, responding to baby's needs while managing your own, feeding your family and more!
We offer several ways to support you in as you are learning to breastfeed your baby:

  • Leaders who are available every day for one-on-one phone calls and emails to help you sort out your challenges
