Mother-to-Mother Gatherings​

Personalized support and information from a mother who has breastfed her baby.
La Leche League is a free community resource supported by volunteers who have breastfed their babies and gone through specialized training to help support you and your breastfeeding goals. Leaders are skilled, knowledgeable and most of all...have been there when it comes to challenges and difficulties. They have experience and resources to help you overcome your struggle. 
We cover topics like:
  • nursing while baby is getting teeth
  • introducing solids and child-led weaning
  • pumping and storing milk
  • gentle parenting
  • adjusting to motherhood
  • balancing work and breastfeeding
  ​We are here to support you. Join us at a Mother-to-Mother gathering!

Beyond an online resource
A mother-to-mother gathering will offer something unique that you may not find in other sources. Real experiences from mothers who are  managing nighttime feedings, returning to work and pumping, and adjusting from being a couple to a family.
​
In addition to this, it is a safe space to ask those uncomfortable questions that nobody talks about online. Plus you'll have a network of ladies gently cheering you on as you work to breastfeed your baby in a way that works for you.

Pregnant and wanting to breastfeed?
Pregnancy is the best time to be learning about breastfeeding! Watching mothers in person feeding their babies and overcoming challenges to continue nursing for a year or longer can help prepare you for your breastfeeding journey. Plus, having a great support network and friendships in place before baby arrives sets you up for a great postpartum.

​Plus learn more about how birth choices can affect breastfeeding, how to have a great start in the early weeks, and what steps you can take to avoid painful nursing sessions.
